My artwork is energized by colors and shapes. Seeing how they come together through their contrasting relationships provides me with an endless source of inspiration. This approach applies to my archival inkjet prints, as well as my abstracted gestural paintings that represent form. In regard to my paintings, I continue to build upon this idea, but also incorporate a search for the truth behind the hidden mystique found within each image. It is the intrinsic beauty of the subject that inspires me, keeps me engaged, and drives the processes that I employ in my work.
